Who is Conn
Our founder Conn Bertish is considered one of the top creative thinkers in Africa having spearheaded the use of purposeful creativity to build resilience for thousands of cancer patients, struggling brands and creative professionals around the world. His work merges neuroscience, purpose, creativity and marketing under the banner of ‘Happy People Are Harder to Kill’ - an ideology which not only helped him beat brain cancer, but has garnered numerous global awards while assisting brands like Coca Cola, Google, Airbnb, Nestle, Merck, the Shoprite Group and the One Club to build their creative resilience. Bertish has been labelled a ‘Wunderkind of Creativity’ and a ‘Sensei of Resilience’ by the media. and has recently expanded his services to include CRG brand creation, storytelling and creative resilience training for global brands, start ups and conscious businesses.
Our founder overcame brain cancer using creativity to augment the efficacy of his many invasive medical treatments. This use of Psychoneuroimmunology (the science behind the Placebo effect) is core to all the work that we at the Harder To Kill Group are passionate about growing, sharing and spreading into the world, that needs it in spades.
